Job Description & Requirements

Summary of Position
The primary focus of this role is support the merchandise department with initiatives and programs from inception to execution, by creating plans necessary to keep cross functional teams on task with the goal of communicating the vision, expectations and direction to the field to execute at the highest level.

Responsibilities of Position

  • Plan, execute and manage the successful implementation of merchandise initiatives and projects as scheduled.
  • Perform project management, including management of people, timelines and tasks.
  • Lead cross-functional team members to identify issues and risks, reach decisions and resolve problems.
  • Provide project status updates weekly and as requested.
  • Create complete and accurate communication to allow the field to execute at the highest level and on-time.
  • Follow all Company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience, Education, Training, or Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or education and experience in merchandising and/or store operations.
  • Experience with management and leadership skills necessary to guide teams and individuals to meet established timelines.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Software primarily excel, word and power point.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented with strong attention to accuracy.
  • Ability to work in multi-task and fast-paced environment to include planning and managing multiple projects to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well with others, yet independently & without close supervision.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with all levels of the merchandise
    department as well as cross functional teams across the company.
