Job Description

Cognosante anticipates the award of a large, complex enrollment contract.

Under this five-year Federal contract, Cognosante will provide omni-channel contact center services supporting inbound and outbound communications, enrollment processing, mail fulfillment, and premium administration efforts.

The Program Director will manage this complex program with a total annual budget at approximately $40 million.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provides direction for the completion of required deliverables under the performance of the project
  • Monitors the project plan, manage tasks, assess project needs, monitor schedules, serve as contact person for team members
  • Ensures all projects have timelines and project teams have clear goals, objectives, and milestones
  • Effectively communicates project/program strategy, status, critical path activity timing, resource requirements, and risks as appropriate
  • Manages subcontractors and company employees
  • Ensures continual and effective communication with the customer
  • Oversees management of contact center, enrollment, and premium administration operations
  • Meets all service level agreements and other performance standards
  • Develops solutions to complex issues that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovation
  • Facilitates team level decision-making and escalates key decisions
  • Ensures that effective collaboration and communication takes place across the team
  • Adapts program management processes across tasks
  • Identifies and helps resolve resource constraints and/or conflicts that affect multiple tasks within the program
  • Maintains a unified, high performing interdisciplinary team
  • Arranges priorities as necessary to perform tasks
  • Provides status and performance reports as required by the client and Cognosante leadership
  • Establishes / complies with best practices and processes across the program
  • Supports the continual implementation of process improvements
  • Conducts performance reviews, monitors productivity, and assesses quality of team personnel
  • Creates and sustain a culture that encourages high performance of individuals and teams
  • Reviews operational reports and develop/implement action plans to address deficiencies
  • Develops presentations and talks to motivate and educate staff
  • Resolves any issues causing delays and/or problems on the project
  • Supports deliverable development and provides regular status reporting to client
  • Performs all duties as assigned within Cognosante policy and procedures
  • Completes other tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or work experience in a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience managing enrollment and contact center functions.
  • Active PMP Certification

Additional Minimum Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a client-facing, project leadership role
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, with specific focus on contact center-centric operations
  • Effective leadership skills managing large-size program operations
