Reporting to the Divisional Head of External Product the successful candidate will, in the role of Product Manager, be responsible for roadmap definition, execution, launch and delivery of projects, initiatives and features of technology within the product.

To be successful in this role you will need a proven background building highly scalable and innovative systems, tools, and processes, exhibit sound business judgment, demonstrate strong communication, leadership and influencing skills, and possess the ability to achieve results in an agile and quickly evolving environment.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Understand DGC’s strategic and competitive vision and assist in the delivery of products that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners and suppliers to drive delivery of products, features and projects.
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.
  • The primary driver for identifying significant opportunities, and driving product vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals.
  • Work closely with Product Management and other key stakeholders to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
  • Ability to be adaptable to different delivery methods dependent on technical teams; Agile, Project Management, KanBan, etc.
  • Management of a Product Owner team including:
  • Recruitment, appraisals and other related management functions.
  • Assess value, develop cases and requirements, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with overall business strategy.
  • Leads and motivates a team and other cross-functional stakeholders, and maintains team health.
  • Team growth and development
  • Understand impediments and remove them.
  • Collecting and updating metrics.
  • Team Celebrations.
  • Understand training needs and setup in-house training sessions.
  • Plan in-house training sessions.
  • Stay updated with Agile and delivery practice.
  • Coaching on Tech and Agile practices.
  • Assessing the Scrum/Agile Maturity of the team and coaching them to higher levels of maturity.
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments.
  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
  • Assisting with internal and external communication.
  • Supporting the Product Owner team, e.g.:
  • Providing backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
  • Assist in the planning of release plans and set expectation for delivery of new products and / or functionalities.
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends.
  • Assist where needed with the facilitation of PO/Tech/External stakeholders.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study
  • 2 years previous experience within a same/ similar role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of processes regarding documenting requirements and processes
  • Demonstrated experience working within an Agile Scrum delivery method
  • Preferred experience in or knowledge of Casino Gaming
  • Preferred experience in or knowledge of Sports Betting

  • Ability to prioritize effectively, communicate clearly, and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, opinionated team.
  • Ability to work in an agile and iterative environment.
