This position will be located in Dulles, VA and will support the Mission Robotic Vehicle/Mission Extension Pod programs.

Space Logistics is developing the next generation of space robotics and satellite servicing technologies.

In February 2020, Space Logistics docked the world’s first commercial satellite servicing vehicle, Mission Extension Vehicle-1 (MEV-1) with its client commercial satellite in geostationary orbit, where it remains in service today.

MEV-2 was launched in August 2020, and the next-generation satellite servicing spacecraft, the Mission Robotic Vehicle (MRV), is in development today.

MRV will carry the most sophisticated space robotic payload yet developed and be the first commercial space robotics spacecraft.

In addition, the MRV will robotically deploy Mission Extension Pods (MEPs), which are small servicing spacecraft carrying sufficient propellant for six years of client life extension.

Space Logistics is the only place in the industry offering the opportunity to work on credible near-term applications of satellite servicing, space robotics, and other life extension and augmentation opportunities for a wide variety of commercial and US customers in geostationary and other orbits.
