Operation Warfighter (OWF) Senior Project Manager

This is a Full-time position in Arlington, VA posted November 24, 2022.

Magellan Federal is seeking an experienced manager in support of a non-personal services contract to provide professional support for the Recovery Coordination Program (RCP) of the Defense Health Agency (DHA). This position will specifically support and promote recovering servicemembers participation in Operation WarFighter (OWF), a program designed to provide internships available at federal and state agencies to serve as a conduit to full time employment post military service.

Serves as a technical or functional expert and applies expert functional knowledge and experience to plan and

execute activities related to Operation Warfighter (OWF).

Coordinates with regional coordinators and develops functional guidance.

Serve as an analyst for the OWF program to include preparation and presentation of program analytics to the

government customer and recommendations for improvement.

Plan, direct, organize, control, and coordinate regional coordinators activities to include reviewing and approving

work products; ensuring compliance with management policies, plans and procedures; interfacing with the

Government; and reviewing and making recommendations to the government regarding the efforts of the regional

coordinators so that the proposed efforts are consistent with cost, schedule, and performance requirements.

Establishes processes and procedures to facilitate the accomplishment of tasks and defines the standards for

quality and timeliness to ensure results.

Assists in hiring of team personnel and ensures that all personnel assigned to the task meet government

qualification standards and receive necessary training.

Directs program activities to meet client and organization work objectives.

Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.

Reviews opportunities for breadth and scope, and makes recommendations for change, to ensure that

opportunities are appropriate and best suited for military service members.

Experience Required:

10 years demonstrated experience in counseling and

10 years demonstrated experience in career development.

Education:

Master s Degree or greater in Counseling (MA, MS, PhD) required.

National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) certification required.

LCSW- Licensed Clinical Social Worker

LMHC- Licensed Mental Health Counselor

LPC- Licensed Professional Counselor

Salary Minimum:

$77,785

Salary Maximum:

$124,455

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
