The Data Product Manager is the sole owner of a vehicle lifecycle data product and related analytics responsible for working across the organization to ensure optimal usage and effectiveness of the product.

As a Data Product Manager you will:

  • Use data to build & manage key business products to drive revenue and decisions surrounding CARFAX’s business and product suite
  • Use Data to develop strategic plans and product roadmaps to help achieve business, financial and product quality objectives
  • Define key performance indicators and reporting for tracking product success and command of strategic goals
  • Collaborate and communicate with analytical and technical teams across team CARFAX
  • Manage multiple internal stakeholders and interact with all members of the Senior Management team
  • Direct the integration of technical aspects of products developed to ensure clarity and understanding

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 4-7 years’ experience successfully managing data driven products in a hands-on environment
  • BS and MBA or equivalent work experience
  • Proven player coach with the confidence to bring new ideas and solutions to the team
  • Ability to summarize complex data and products to drive strategic decision making
  • Technical aptitude to work with analytics & data
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication skills
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects across several departments and able to champion projects through to completion
  • Experience working with Agile software development teams
  • Excel; R, SQL, preferred (a data analytics language ex. SQL, R, python, scala & creating data visuals)
  • Sense of ownership and ability to proactively identify objectives and steps required to meet the objectives
  • This role will work out of our Centreville, VA headquarters
