IT Project Senior Manager

Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Project Manager in McLean, VA. Key Tasks:

  • IT Project Manager will take a leadership role in product and technology management within the Federal marketspace
  • Travel to customer locations to support on-site installation, integration, testing, and training
  • Work with senior- and technical-level customers to understand priorities, needs, and constraints across mission scenarios/operation needs, technical integration, and security requirements
  • As an IT Project Manager, you will oversee the product demonstration and integration testing environments – to include overseeing the implementation of the product in company locations, establishing demo kits for remote demonstrations, and integration with other internal products or capabilities
  • Manage the execution of strategic projects requiring cross-team collaborations – to include product development, customer account, and other technical teams (e.g., cyber, networking, cloud)
  • IT Project Managers design and execute implementation strategies, plans, and procedures to achieve customer satisfaction and contract deliverables
  • Help support the sales team with development and close of new business
  • Monitor and identify priorities that require senior leadership focus
  • IT Project Managers build and lead a deployment team that supports you and successful product deployment
  • Ensure the Mission, Vision, and Principles are properly developed and communicated across the deployment team

Job Requirements:


  • 7-12 years of experience deploying technical products and end-to-end solutions within government environments
  • Experience with advanced Windows 10 optional features such as Kiosk Mode, Unified Write Filters, and Windows Defender integration
  • Experience with MDT and SCCM to support endpoint configurations and operations
  • Experience developing PowerShell scripts to support endpoint configurations and operations
  • Experience configuring Hyper-V virtual machines and virtual networking to support endpoint configurations and operations
  • Experience with Linux endpoints such as package management, bash scripting, and network configuration
  • Experience with Windows domain fundamentals including domain controllers and GPO’s
  • Experience standing up on premise and cloud infrastructure to support product’s server side services and API integration
  • Knowledge of networking principles to include DNS, DHCP, PKI/Certificates
