An exciting opportunity is available for Hospital Director of Magnet Program in the Greater Norfolk area.

This award winning hospital is known for its technologically advancements in care and has gained recognition for quality of care in numerous specialties – orthopedics, cardiovascular, labor and delivery, radiological, laboratory, and oncology care.
The Hospital Director of Magnet Program is responsible for oversight of the Magnet Program and implementation of creative systems, processes, clinical practices that improve patient care delivery. Responsible for assuring the Magnet framework and essential domains are enculturated and hardwired into the organization through coordination, education and consultation with Leadership. Leads education for staff and Magnet Champions on key initiatives and Magnet principles. Conducts gap analysis for evidence of the Magnet Model components and works closely with leadership to formulate plans to close the gaps in performance.
The Hospital Director of Magnet Program will have a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing with a Masters degree preferred. Experience in Magnet project coordination preferred.
