ResponsibilitiesConsultants in this role will support program management and business operations and may provide: Facilitation of routine PM ceremonies such as staff meetings, project planning, schedule management, reporting, and monitoring of performance indicators, risks and issues.Business process/worflow design, implementation, and improvement.Change management and facilitation of strategic planning excercises.Communications and stakeholder coordination.Executive support for program governance and oversight processes.Quality control of key deliverables and reportsSubject matter experise relating to Counterterrorism (CT)/ Countering Violent Extremism (CVE)Subject matter expertise relating to Department of Homeland Security business operations.

QualificationsThe following qualifications are REQUIRED to be considered for this role:Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire.1+ years of full-time professional experience in project management, management consulting, business process improvement.

Project management experience can include Project Management Office (PMO) and Project Coordinator positions.Minumum of 1+ years of experience supporting Federal agencies, including DHS HQ offices to implement business process improvements, lead initiatives, develop strategic communications, and implement change management initiatives.Strong critical thinking, written, and oral communication skills.Strong analytical skills and ability to lead multiple programs and activities.Ability to pass a Public trust background check.US citizenship is contractually requiredThe following experience/education/skills are PREFERRED to be considered for this role:BA or BS degree in political science, public policy, business administration, economics, international affairs, public administration, or related field.Demonstrates ability to use software (e.G., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SharePoint) to create impactful solutions to organizational challenges.
