Primary Responsibilities

The Water Project Manager will serve as project manager and/or technical lead on municipal water treatment projects.

Primary duties include leading multidisciplinary teams to develop detailed designs plans specifications and estimates for pipelines, pump stations, water treatment plants and other water & wastewater storage and conveyance systems.

Other specific responsibilities include budgetary and schedule controls, invoicing, engineering/process design, project coordination, determining and writing engineering specifications, permitting and regulatory compliance, planning work, establish appropriate design methods, report preparation and coordination, equipment sizing and selection and working directly with clients.

The candidate will also support marketing efforts,is expected to be a client manager for multiple clients, and be an integral component in the expansion of our drinking water portfolio in the Mid-Atlantic.

The candidate will support project teams to pursue and complete water treatment projects including various advanced drinking water treatment technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

    Master’s degree is preferred.

  • Professional registration required.
  • 8+ years of experience with municipal or industrial water systems process and design is preferred.
  • Additional experience on wastewater treatment projects a plus.
  • Strong technical background and experience in water treatment, specifically potable water reuse.
  • Experience with the development of proposals and pursuit planning.
  • Existing relationships with clients in the Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland area preferred.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Software knowledge: Microsoft Office
