Project Analyst

You’re a highly motivated, analytically-minded professional, with strong quantitative and analytical skills — and the desire to use those skills to help broaden intransigent attitudes of public school stakeholders.

As a K12 Insight Project Analyst, you’ll break down and analyze complex problems, providing answers with precision and accuracy.

You are able to quickly evaluate raw data organization and structure to create a technical, analytical approach to visual, meaningful information.

Working in the realm of social science, you’ll understand that engagement attitudes and emotional associations can mean the difference between success and failure.

Special Skills/Training

You’ll also be expected to master internal business systems and tools, including Salesforce, Client Delivery Processes and Procedures (CDPAP), 5pm (project management software), Google Apps, Join.Me, WhatsApp and other emerging business technologies.

As a Regional Managing Director, you’ll strive to achieve two primary goals:

  • To attract new clients to expand our work in your assigned territory.
  • To renew current clients and expand services to existing clients within your region.

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Research and Advisory Services, the Managing Director is responsible for maintaining and growing strategic relationships with key school district leaders, and finding new and innovative ways to leverage K12 Insight ’s solutions and services to help educators solve their most pressing challenges.

As your region’s CEO, and a company leader, you’re responsible for the budget and staffing of a dedicated team of professionals who serve your clients.

Your team includes researchers, analysts and implementation specialists.

Additionally, you will work closely with a Strategic Account Executive (SAE) to help manage, solidify and grow client relationships throughout your territory.

Primary Responsibilities

Retain regional clients and annual revenue.

  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with high-level district leaders
  • Consistently monitor client satisfaction
  • Identify potential challenges to client renewals and the best solutions for overcoming these challenges

Grow regional annual revenue.

  • Leverage strategic partnerships for new business opportunities
  • Work closely with a sales executive to provide technical expertise and close new business
  • Work with marketing to create content that promotes the mission and vision of K12 Insight within the region
  • Upsell existing contracts in partnership with SAE
  • Renew existing contracts at higher value
  • Execute strategies to regain past clients

Direct the activities and productivity of the entire region.

  • Monitor and balance workload capacity using company tools such as 5PM, T-Sheets and Salesforce
  • Conduct regular check-ins with team members to assess capacity and employee engagement/satisfaction
  • Review and approve new business and renewal contracts

Ensure highest delivery quality for all K12 Insight products and services.

  • Regularly review client deliverables
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of products and services
  • Provide continuous evaluation and feedback on performance to all team members
  • Providing opportunities for professional development

Create and manage a regional budget

  • Monitor revenue and make fiscally responsible hiring decisions
  • Track regional expenses, include travel expenses

Special Skills/Training

  • 10-plus years of service to public school districts, sales or client relationship experience
  • Proven track record of success within public education
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher level of education
