Peraton’s Civil Health sector is seeking Cybersecurity Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Arlington, VA. The Cybersecurity Lead will perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. Establishes strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems. Includes support of process, analysis, coordination, security certification test, security documentation, as well as investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections and periodic audits. Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards. Roles and Responsibilities Leads information security management. Leads the creation of security baselines to support ATO. Ensures security posture is maintained. Support development of Interconnection security agreements and MOUs for pipes including ISDN, t1, t3, DS3, VPN. Helps define policy and process, ensure systems have an ATO. Maintain and enhance documentation. Works with the AO to provide recommendations based on assessments. Reviews policyprocedures to ensure compliance standards are being met. Review, maintain, and enhance documentation and plans to meet FISMA and FISCAM security requirements. Provide support to analyze, assess, and document results to support USMS authorization and accreditation. Works with Data Governance lead. Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 2 years of cyber security management experience US Citizenship in order to obtain and maintain a position of public trust Preferred Qualifications Knowledgeable with SAFe Agile practices and tools Experience deploying and maintaining national security software systems in a 247 environment Experience as a software engineer or similar technical role Active adjudicated USMS background investigation or government security clearance CISSP or other cybersecurity certification Experience adjudicating security issues.
