Our mission is to be a catalyst and enabler for the business to achieve a sustainably well managed operation.Responsibilities:Ensure appropriate management and awareness of key well managed efforts impacting Enterprise PaymentsFacilitate a well managed culture throughout Enterprise Payments by assisting in process, program, project, controls, and risk managementCoordinate alignment between multiple up and down stream stakeholder groups across all Capital One businesses and second / third line risk and audit teamsLead end-to-end delivery and process transformationDrive business processes forward toward the end-state / destinationIdentify initiatives required to get from the current state to the end stateAssess feasibility and level of effort for process changes required by new products and services and driving implementationOrganize initiatives for each business process in a single backlog spanning all teams supporting the process, including product teamsRecommend prioritization/sequencing of initiativesDeliver high impact initiatives, including definition, scoping, design, planning, development, launch, and monitoringEnsure all processes meet process management standards, including those for critical business processesIdentifying root causes of risk issues and events to drive process improvements mitigating these risksBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or Military experienceAt least 5 years of Process and Project Management experienceAt least 5 years of Risk Management experienceAt least 2 years of People Management experienceAt least 5 years experience in Process Improvements, Process Redesign, and Cross-functional problem-solvingPreferred qualifications:Master’s Degree or MBAAt least 7 years of Process and Project Management experienceAt least 7 years of Risk Management experienceAt least 5 years of People Management experienceAt least 5 years experience in Banking OperationsAt least 5 years experience managing internal and external audits including interaction with State and Federal regulatorsAt least 7 years experience in Process engineering, design, development, and deploymentAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
