We work closely with the CHRO and business leaders in shaping talent policy, we automate real-time data and insights to improve talent decision-making, and empower our Associates through behavioral nudges.

Our team culture is start-up like (fast-moving, innovative) inside a Fortune 100 company.The Role:As a Business Manager on the People Analytics team, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to the exciting new field of People Analytics to solve complex, open-ended questions about how we should attract, develop, and retain top talent.

You will team up with world-class professionals and senior leadership to delve into major people management and talent initiatives, such as:Accelerating and streamlining recruiting and selectionUnderstanding and predicting associate turnoverWorking with business leaders to boost retentionUnderstanding how culture, learning, and talent management actions shape productivity and performance by using real, hard data about behavior and associate outcomes…and you will do it all in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibilities, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation.General Responsibilities:Analysis: Connect people data to business performance data to generate relevant, actionable insights and make strategic and tactical recommendationsModeling/Analytics: Perform modeling/analytics to predict employee and business outcomesExecution: Develop and test hypotheses, prioritize and design solutions, assess feasibility, lead implementation efforts, and develop plans and tools for monitoring outcomesPartnership: Work closely with colleagues and senior leaders in HR and the Lines of Business to generate insights and drive improvement in associate experience and business resultsStrategic & Analytic orientation: Combine exceptional conceptual thinking skills with a strong quantitative orientation to define, structure, and solve complex problemsBusiness communication: Influence through impeccable written and verbal communication, telling compelling narratives to drive alignment with stakeholders across levels and business groupsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s DegreeAt least 2 years of experience in quantitative or qualitative analysisPreferred Qualifications:Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)5+ years of experience in people or workforce analytics5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis5+ years of experience in qualitative analysis2+ year of experience in product development2+ years of experience in financial modeling2+ years of experience in economic forecasting2+ years of experience in project management1+ years of experience in consultingCapital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position.
