Sales Manager

Under the general direction of the Branch Manager, the Sales Manager performs a variety of management functions relating to sales office operation. The Sales Manager manages the office during temporary absences of the Manager.

Sales Manager’s Responsibilities:

  • Maintains the productive operation of the sales office in cooperation with the Branch Manager.
  • Assists with or manages office staff employees.
  • Assists Sales Associates with sales related problems and questions in cooperation with the Branch Manager.
  • Trains new Sales Associates on Company policies and procedures; supervises and teaches the office’s New Associate Training Program.
  • Assists Branch Manager with recruiting new Sales Associates to Long & Foster.

    Requirements:

  • Must have real estate experience and a license consistent with the regulations in the state where the office is located.
  • Must meet all continuing education requirements necessary to maintain the license.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Prior supervisory/management experience is preferable as is experience in the location where the office is located.
