The primary function of this position is to provide quality service to clients and cross-sell/account-round within the existing book of business. The Account Manager (AM) will be the day-to-day liaison between the insurance company and designated accounts. The AM will manage and control the relationships with his/her clients.This position can work from our offices in: Accomac, VA; Ocean City or Oakland MD; Leondardtown, MD. We are also open to remote workers within those surrounding areas.Duties and Responsibilities:Daily servicing of clients will include contract analysis, coverage and exposure analysis, endorsement activity, routine coverage and billing questions, problem-solving, renewal control, preparation of quotes/proposals, binding coverage, and claim reporting and follow-up. The AM will assist Producer(s) with the above functions as needed.Or, the AM should have knowledge and experience in all areas of personal insurance including, but not limited to,: homeowners, dwelling fire, auto, watercraft, umbrella, inland marine/personal articles floater, and floodAs needed, the AM will coordinate with Producers on strategic account issues and potential problemsThe AM will deliver high-touch service with prompt, accurate, and courteous deliveryIncrease revenue by rounding out commercial lines accountsDevelop relationships that lead to new business salesExperience and Qualifications:BA/BS preferredP&C License upon hire or able to obtain within 90 days of hireThree years of industry experience preferredKnowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environmentAbility to work independently and on a teamAvailability to travel on an as-needed basisAbout NFPWe’re NFP, a three-time Best Places to Work award winner in Business Insurance for 2017 – 2019, as well as an Elite 2018 Agency award winner and named as a Top Employee Benefits Firm.
