Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds, B-Line, and Oil and Gas Division is currently seeking an Industrial End User Sales Representative to join our team.

This position is based in East Texas.

Position Overview: The Industrial End User Representative is responsible for increasing customer preference and driving specification and demand for Crouse-Hinds, B-Line, Oil & Gas products in the marketplace for their assigned geographic region.

The incumbent will meet with engineering firms, architectural firms, consultants, end users, contractors, OEM’s, and others to deliver technical presentations, write specifications, and build and grow key customer relationships within a given territory.

The incumbent will also be responsible for training our internal and external audiences, including local agent sales teams and customers, as it pertains to these products.

The incumbent will be expected to assist the internal product management and engineering teams with customer feedback on new product development projects.

In addition, they will be expected to formulate customer needs and concerns into workable product specifications to be implemented by the appropriate product manager.

This position requires complex technical knowledge and strong communication skills to be able to make technical recommendations on product solutions.

In this function you will: Drive Crouse-Hinds, B-Line, Oil & Gas national product demand through specification with end-users, Architectural and Engineering (A & E) Firms, and Design/Build contractors (D/B) contractors Develop and maintain liaison with top management of key regional contractor accounts located within the territory Understand and demonstrate the features and benefits of the full line of industrial support products including training others on product usage and applications Train our Sales Force on how to specify, sell, and properly apply the products.

Train our customers on how to specify the products.

Work cross-functionally to recommend, develop, and execute new or modified programs/products to ensure a competitive position is maintained within the sales territory.

Contribute to product line market pricing database through online pricing research.

Recommend appropriate product usage to Consulting Engineers and Contractors.

Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the electrical and support system industry Minimum of 2 years of experience making group presentations.

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.

Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Tyler, TX, Sherman TX, or Nacogdoches, TX will be considered.

Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Position Criteria: Willingness to travel with flexibility on time requirements.

Ability to work independently from home office.

Excellent communication skills with ability to think on your feet to field technical questions.

Ability to learn, grow, and deal with ambiguity and change, A strong bias towards action Proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
