INVENTORY SPECIALIST

General Duties:
This position reports to the Field Services Manager. Supports Inventory Analyst by handling daily inventory & store asset record keeping tasks and performing vendor reconciliations on expected inventory levels.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintains accurate inventory and store asset related record keeping on seed pool levels, new store inventory, and special projects. This includes accurately updating the inventory database with due receipts, and transfers.
  • Conduct physical and virtual inventory reconciliations with 3rd party warehouse providers through weekly cycle counts, monthly reconciliations and quarterly reporting.
  • Complete Lawson PIK Tickets for Field Services including RENS, Projects, and Depot.
  • Evaluate and resolve inventory discrepancies by researching PO’s, hardware movement, historical data, individual transactions, shipping manifests and any other resources.
  • Create and manage move/add/change forms on weekly basis, and ensure successful processing of those forms which includes verifying Call Logging Systems, Folders on Network, Fixed Assets and vendor communications.
  • Process all store related hardware movement in and out of the Corporate offices, specifically that which flows through the Retail Technology Department for labs and certifications.
  • Review Repair Bench and escalate open items as necessary.
  • Review and process shipping/receiving exceptions on a daily basis and identify to management unusual abnormalities.
  • Track outstanding return work orders and vendor repairs.
  • Maintain fully documented and up to date processes and procedures.
  • Keep current the database of all equipment pictures for any new items.
  • Other related duties required by management.
