We view diversity as a key business driver that enables us to attract and retain the best talent, thereby enabling our high performance in any location.* These openings are in O’Fallon, MO, Phoenix, AZ, and Chesapeake, VA, to be considered, candidates must either be located in those locations or be willing to relocate upon opening of office*Basic Function of the Job:This position reports to a Supervisor in the Claim Operations department and provides critical operations support to our Claim Partners.Major Duties/Responsibilities of the Job:* Accurately assign and/or reassign claims according to established service guidelines to include accurately tracking assignments in a database* Ability to process various claims related financial transactions to include adjusting reserves, issuing payments, completing stop payments and voids and applying cash receipts* Experience processing payments using a vendor invoice management system* Familiar with scheduling appointments with medical providers and obtaining medical records. Familiar with processes, workflows and reporting requirements associated with utilizing intelligent automation to complete daily task work* Ability to successfully work out of multiple claim systems at one time as needed* Communicate and collaborate effectively with Supervisor and team members to ensure service levels are met daily* Recognize, prioritize, and escalate service and claims issues according to escalation guidelines* Support an environment of continuous improvement by offering ideas and suggestions to improve workflows and processes.* Assist with and/or participate in projects assigned by Manager or Supervisor.* Ability to work in a virtual and connected team environment utilizing technology tools availableKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:* Prior experience working in fast paced, Insurance Operations environment preferred* Demonstrated customer service skills both verbally and written.* Experience with Worker’s Compensation EDI processing and State Reporting preferred* Ability to evaluate work throughout the day and act on items of priority within scope of responsibility.* Ability to work in an agile environment* Knowledge of computer navigation skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word* Demonstrated time management skills* Ability to effectively prioritize, manage, and process multiple work requests/tasks.* Prior Claims knowledge to include Worker’s Compensation, Personal Lines and Commercial Lines a plus* Display a positive attitude, and remain flexible, with the willingness and ability to readily respond to changing circumstances
