CTR Group is seeking a Project Controls Analyst who can work remote anywhere in the US for an R&D Firm in Newport News, VA. Immediate opening and urgently hiring! Open-ended position, 6 – 12 Months.

PAY RANGE: $45 – $60+ per Hour

Will participate in creating and maintaining resource loaded schedules according to standard project management scheduling according to standard project management scheduling and earned value methodology. Provide supporting project documentation, collaborate with technical personnel and project managers in developing schedules and preparing for Critical Design Reviews.

Job Requirements:


  • 5-10 years of experience analyzing project management performance
  • Primavera experience
    Deltek Cobra
  • EVM (Earned Value Methodology
  • Experience developing schedules and projects with with CAM (Control Account Managers)
  • Experience with multiple location project facilitation
  • Experience with DOE 413 standards
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Ability to generate correspondence, memoranda, reports and other documents
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with the science team
  • MS Office proficiency, especially Excel
  • Ability to understand complex problems
  • Analytical and deductive reasoning skills required
  • Prior scheduling experience in a research environment preferred
  • Department of Energy (DOE) project experience highly desired
