Position Description

Looking for energetic and capable individuals to join our team supporting a matrixed organization capable of working multiple platforms concurrently.

Team members will contribute across each facet of a major shipbuilding program.

Specifically, duties will include:
Organize and coordinate Surface Combatant Information Assurance Accreditation .

This includes coordinating with Shipbuilders, PARMs, NAVSEA CIO and other stakeholders to accredit and maintain the accreditation of the networks.

Advises team to challenging technical issues, coordinates the use of technical resources across the organization on multi-disciplinary problems, and provides technical guidance and leadership to less-experienced engineers and other technical staff.

Works within a peer group of senior technical staff to periodically review technical plans, results, and work products.

Performs complex and advanced engineering work in design, evaluation, planning, testing and accreditation in support of network architecture development and implementation.

Prepares and provides formal briefings to the staff and project sponsors.

Leads cybersecurity discussions at program review sessions Supports program risk identification and management activities.

Coordinates the application of the technical resources when required.

Building on experience and research on new technologies and processes provide advice and recommendations to team on meeting challenges of new shipbuilding programs.

Develops documentation, reports, and project plans and prepares and may present briefings and staff seminars.

Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity or equivalent is required.

10 years’ experience in IA or cybersecurity accreditation.

Familiarity with DoD IA accreditation.

A U.S.

DoD Active Secret Security Clearance is required.

Preferred Master’s Degree, CISM, or CISSP.
