Engineer II –


This is a Full-time position in Elkton, VA posted May 3, 2021.

Title: Engineer II

Location: Elkton, VA

Start date: ASAP


  • Join a multidisciplinary team supporting new products, process qualification, major projects, and regulatory filings.
  • Participating in project planning and execution
  • Performing qualification efforts, Authoring protocols, technical documents and other GMP documentation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams across levels
  • Supporting existing sterile processes through continuous improvement projects
  • Producing high quality work against firm deadlines.
  • Analyze data, complete and track project work, change controls and some technical writing.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science field such as Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Integrated Science, Biology, Biological System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related Life Science or Engineering Discipline (Associates degree acceptable with relevant experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years in project management or execution, Organizational skills, Technical writing, Microsoft Office suite (including teams).
  • Preferred Experience and Skills: Experience working in a pharmaceutical or cGMP environment is a plus, Experience with change control systems
  • Consistent, personal character, ethics, and integrity
  • Problem-solving skills, PMP or Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with regulatory filings
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Will require Beta Lactam screenings so candidates should have no known allergy.
  • Ideal candidate would have experience with change control systems, previous regulatory filing (heavily preferred), and project management/coordination skills.
  • Ability to contribute to projects and activities independently but there are team aspects too during project planning. Communication, collaboration, and organizational skills are essential.
