Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

Summary
All Native Group is looking to fill the position of Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC).

The CISA shall assist the Government in remediating all NFRs from prior, current, and future audit by means of providing all recommendations and analysis requested by the Government in support of the Government’s goal of ensuring all approved CAPs (for NFRs subject to a CAP) are completed in an effective and efficient manner.

All requested recommendations and analysis for CAPs for each NFR must be provided within 30 to 45 days from the date the support is requested by the COR (the COR will determine the time frame between 30 and 45 days).

The remediation strategy must align with Head Quarter Marine Corps (HQMC) priorities and objectives to obtain an audit “opinion.” In executing these tasks.

Essential Functions
Recommend the “business rules” governing the remediation activities (e.g., narrative, flowchart, measures of effectiveness).

Once approved by the Government, ensure the rules are followed.

Monitor and report CAPs by their milestones, including those generated from internally generated MARCORSYSCOM findings (e.g., CAPs from Managers’ Internal Control Program (MICP) testing).

Recommend whether existing internal CAP addresses the deficiency(ies) and finding(s).

Recommend compensating/interim strategies to address the current risk(s) if certain milestones are longer term and will not be remediated by the close of the fiscal year.

Perform validation testing (based on Government approved criteria) over completed milestones and (CAPs).

Ensure work involving the financial relevant reporting systems, such as control reviews, is correct.

This job operates in a professional office environment.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.

Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word.

Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.

Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds.

Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position.

Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m.

Evening and weekend hours required, as required by business need.

Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected.

Experience
Minimum ten (10) years’ experience
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in auditing
Education
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year college or university in management information systems or computer science or similar area required; three to five years internal/external audit experience conducting information systems audits.

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) required and Certified Internal Auditor preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Exceptional organization and time management skills with ability to manage multiple work streams.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
