Business Technology Analyst

Job Purpose/ Role

At Allianz Partners, we’re using data and analytics to drive simplification and rethink our processes as we care for tomorrow.

If you have a deep understanding of technical processes like quality control, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing, we want to talk to you.

In this role, you’ll be the SME for functional applications and processes that help our business lines develop processes, workflows and tools that maximize productivity.

You’ll provide platform release support-researching, analyzing, reviewing, implementing and testing.

You’ll be instrumental in helping us meet and exceed incremental revenue and client satisfaction targets.

You’ll help with our team’s operational efficiency as we configure and execute interactive offers of the optimization process following set test plans, implementation schedules, and documents.

Key Responsibilities

A DAY IN THE LIFE

You will:

• Establish facts, evaluate a situation; determine/recommend a course of action to BTs and/or partners.

Establish/understand logical connections between metadata, engine and project outcomes.
• Develop best practices and leverage cross-functional solutions.
• Perform functional testing for new functionalities and routine platform enhancements.
• Create and communicate testing requirements to partners.
• Translate Business Rules into data setup.
• Support the effort to meet all deliverables for Allianz partners, including implementation activities, enhancements, optimization activities and ongoing maintenance.

• Coordinate with IT/QA, business owners and project team members to ensure test plans and test cases are comprehensive.
• Work closely with teams across Allianz including Platform team, Solutions, Product owner and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability.

You may also perform other duties as assigned and must have regular, predictable, reliable attendance.

Key Requirements/ Skills

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and at least 3 years of experience
• Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team
• Deep understanding of technical processes including quality control, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and requests
• Strong organizational skills, as well as strong analytical and interpretive skills
• Strong ability to troubleshoot issues, identifying root causes and support development team in development of resolutions
• Ability to develop best practices
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Database skills (Oracle and/or SQL Server) and Advanced SOAP/Postman knowledge
