What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI International has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive (BDE) to provide Business Development Leadership and DoD Account Management for our growing Cyberspace Solutions business.

This BDE will be focused on DoD Cyber Business Development activities including development and execution of an overall growth strategy; pipeline generation; and new business awards targeted at growing our portfolio of DoD and CYBERCOM Offensive and Defensive cyberspace operations programs with a strong emphasis on R&D and Mission Technology.

Primary focus will be on the identification, development, qualification, and capture of large, strategic opportunities, valued at over $75M each, while building and maintaining a qualified pipeline of >$100M in potential annual awards.

More About the Role:

  • Be responsible for shaping & winning new business associated with DoD and CYBERCOM customers executing cyberspace operations, including but not limited to: Information Operations/Information Warfare; Computer Network Operations; and the convergence of EW/SIGINT/Cyber.
  • Develop, maintain, and continually progress a pipeline of strategically relevant business opportunities aligned with the Cyberspace Solutions business top priority opportunities.
  • Support developing strategic plans, developing comprehensive account plans, and identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.
  • Establish relationships with key clients and stakeholders and be comfortable with supporting client meetings and events.
  • Execute and manage the transition from business opportunity through proposal development to award and participation as an independent evaluator in all major proposal reviews to ensure continuity from capture to proposal delivery.
  • Collaborate with partner companies and other CACI Sectors to develop winning teaming strategies, support competitive analysis, develop prices analysis and bid winning solutions.
  • Develop reports, briefings, and other management materials to support Executive Management decision making.
  • Brief pursuit Milestone Reviews and IPRs to Sector Executive Leadership and other CACI Senior Executive Management Team members.
  • Work with sales, marketing and potential customers to determine their needs.
  • Develop and disseminate information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of sector business growth goals and objectives.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of DoD, IC or Federal experience, with at least 8 years of business development in the Cyber market – DoD experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Current TS required
    – TS/SCI Poly is highly desirable.
  • Have a strong network of DoD, Navy, Army, USAF, and CYBERCOM customer contacts and must be familiar with the customer’s major programs and upcoming initiatives.
  • The candidate should have a working knowledge of the Federal procurement process, and a demonstrated proficiency with Intelligence and Department of Defense strategy and acquisition plans.
  • Knowledge of the DoD organizational relationships and CYBERCOM budget preparation and execution process.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute the business development function with minimum supervision.
  • Effective leader/participant in formal presentations to clients and potential teaming partners; proven track record of building winning teams as well as successfully negotiating with potential team members as to roles and participation.
  • Detailed insight into DoD and CYBERCOM current and future cyber programs is strongly desired.
  • Local candidates only.
  • Formal training in the Shipley capture process is strongly desired.
