Building Operations Engineer


This is a Full-time position in Leesburg, VA posted May 3, 2021.

Sr. Building Operations Engineer Building Operations Engineer with either Electrical andor Mechanical maintenance experience is needed to monitor power (EMS ndash Environmental Monitoring Systems, BMS- Building Management Systems) and other facility systems in commercial facility buildingsdata centers in order to provide support for a dynamic Fortune 500 company. This is a contract to hire position with potential of converting to permanent full-time with the client. Training will be provided. This is a 50 ldquohands-onrdquo troubleshootingrepair position. The candidate will be responsible for initial diagnosing, troubleshooting andor repairs depending on the issue. Candidates should have either maintenance, mechanical, HVAC, CRAC, electrical, critical facility system, or building operations background so they can recognize and diagnose any problems or issues. Once the problem is identified, they will troubleshootrepair, or contact third party vendor accordingly and notify management. Requirements Experience with Maintenance, Mechanical (HVAC, Chillers, CRAC units, Cooling Towers, andor ldquofree airrdquo fan exhaust systems) or Electrical systems (UPS, ATS, Switch gear, Transformers) within either Commercial Buildings, Manufacturing Facilities, Data Centers or other large facility buildings with critical facility systems.
