Applied Innovation, Intelligence Analyst

General Description: The Applied Innovation Intelligence Analyst reports directly to the Senior Director, Applied Innovation Quantitative Solutions and is a member of Applied Innovation Team, a highly innovative and entrepreneurial team driving solutions to clinical trial inefficiencies, rising costs of drug development, lack of technological advances in healthcare/pharma tech, and fragmented data silos.

The incumbent will work with cross functional experts to develop, deploy, and commercialize innovative technologies to advance pipeline development and improve patient access.

Through a robust understanding of rapidly evolving global health technology landscape, including existing regulations and competitor technologies, the incumbent will drive decisions which maximize return on investment and optimize patient outcomes.

The Applied Innovation Intelligence analyst will have key responsibility for generating competitive strategy insights, providing intelligence support, and collaborating with key stakeholders on a regular update on the market landscape of healthcare technology.

Essential Functions of the job: Provide intelligence support to the Applied Innovation team.

Create and conduct pertinent market research and competitive intelligence input into the team’s existing and planned programs, with a particular focus on healthcare technology.

Coordinate market research and competitive intelligence efforts across the team including strategy, insights & analytics and technology development group while partnering with cross-functional team members Develop and execute a competitive intelligence plan through robust methodology in a timely manner.

Beyond data collection, articulate key competitor’s strategy to inform strategic insights generation and analytics.

Coordinate the communication on CI in an actionable manner.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand priorities, goals and business needs.

Design market research projects, including methodology and vendor selection, to provide answers and actionable information to cross-functional teams.

Function as the subject matter expert (SME) on market research and competitive intelligence Lead discussions with cross-functional teams regarding implications and recommendations based on insights generated.

Presents results and strategic insights to cross-functional teams and senior management Manage and direct external data vendors to ensure cost and resource efficiencies Self-starter who effectively influences across boundaries, builds effective relationships and who proactively drives projects and tasks towards successful completion Apply deep oncology disease area and healthcare technology knowledge/experience Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize work with a sense of urgency Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment Demonstrate leadership and further efforts for BeiGene’s culture and core values initiatives Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A Competencies: Ethics
