POSITION SUMMARY The Applications Specialist is responsible for maintaining the optimal performance of system applications, ensuring smooth navigation by upgrading the features of existing applications, providing user training and performing multiple diagnostic tests before releasing the applications to the digital marketplace. In addition to the below list of responsibilities, the Applications Specialist will carry out assigned tasks that are consistent with the general responsibilities of this position. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with the configuration of Enterprise Management Systems (EMS). Manage user accounts and security groups in website CMS and other applications. Train staff in use of various applications including, MS 365, EMS, CMS and other third-party applications. Create and maintain easy-to-follow training documentation. Implement critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to find solutions in a complex technical environment. Provide the highest quality of end-user support. Assist in the selection and procurement of enterprise applications. Play a key role in the onboarding and offboarding of staff. Performs QA testing of both new software and upgrades to software before release. Apply security best practices for all applications ensuring the security of both member and staff data. Perform audits of software and hardware assets. Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Associate degree in technology or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience. 2+ years of experience with Association or Enterprise Management Systems (iMIS preferred). Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS). Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Macros desired. Strong and proficient troubleshooting skills required (Hardware and Software). Proficient in Windows and MS365. Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner. Strong interpersonal skills such as telephone skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care. Possess the ability to learn new software and effectively train end-users to use it. Diagnosis skills of technical issues. Technical awareness ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately. Understanding of support tools and techniques. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The ability to work efficiently within a team environment. Must be able to multi-task with attention to detail and strong organizational skills. The ability to maintain accurate documentation.
