VP Sales & Marketing

SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

As a VP of Sales and Marketing you fulfill leadership and coordination duties while helping to develop an overall plan to scale a company’s growth. Your primary responsibilities are to oversee the sales and marketing strategy for one or several brands and then monitor and analyze both the methods and results. They are responsible for developing the strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You are responsible for developing the strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization. 
  • You lead the sales and marketing team to meet specific goals that are the most effective for the company.
  • Deploy plans to meet objectives, you also manage budgets, coordinate client accounts, oversee new projects, and work with other partners to develop a long-term plan for the company.
  • Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.
  • Recommend and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations.
  • Research and develop strategies and plan which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE 

  • Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to leadership and key business partners
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
