About the role:

Reporting to the US Head of Sales, this role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your extensive digital marketing experience in the Cybersecurity Consulting sector, to support the success of our US Cybersecurity Business Development teams.

Acting as the primary marketing leader for our US Marketing and Sales team to develop and execute marketing activities centred on growing Sales Pipeline opportunities with new and existing Cybersecurity customers in multiple industry sectors.

Focus will be on lead generation and secondarily promoting brand awareness within the US markets.

Working in a fast-paced environment you will partner with various teams including Marketing, Sales, Agencies, vertical industry leaders and our advisory consultants.

This new permanent position requires seven plus years of experience working on lead generation campaigns, email marketing, social media, SEO, webinar and event delivery for cybersecurity services in the Americas.

To succeed in the role, you will have a marketing and sales background in cybersecurity consulting and/or GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) consulting services.

Head of US Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Primarily to build and lead digital marketing and social media campaigns to drive US Cybersecurity Pipeline Lead Generation across multiple industry sectors.
  • Every day you will work across lead generation, social media content creation, SEO, PPC, marketing automation, Google Analytics, event creation and delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drive cybersecurity event creation, trying new marketing tools, be highly analytical and data oriented, plus KPI and ROI focused.
  • Drive initiatives for generation of service offering collateral, pulling from your own experience, and attaining content from internal BSI subject matter experts.


  • To be successful in this role you’ll have seven plus years leading marketing strategy and sales generation activities from within cybersecurity and/or GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) organisations.
  • Strong experience and understanding of the US marketplace with regards to cybersecurity services and how to market this service offering area in the US.

    Ability to devise digital marketing strategies and activities to grow engagement with existing customers and attract new customers for cybersecurity consulting services.

  • A background in consulting / professional services / IT managed services / SaaS (Xaas) would be beneficial.
  • Good working knowledge of lead generation, social media, SEO, PPC, marketing automation, CRM, CMS, Google Analytics, AdWords, and PR.
  • Strong project management skills are a must as you’ll be managing multiple campaigns and events with our publishing and event partners.
  • Able to work closely with various stakeholders (sales, global marketing executives, vendors, partners, agencies, exhibitors, hosts and event organisers) to plan and execute activities.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Travel as required to lead our marketing efforts across US and Canada.
  • Familiarity with CMS systems (Episerver an advantage), eMail marketing automation systems (SFDC Pardot an advantage), pus excellent hands-on PC skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.
