Celerity’s Customer Experience Team is expanding and on the hunt for the fun, savvy, creative, and analytically sound individuals that are motivated by solving complex problems.

As the Sr.

UX Researcher, you will lead UX Research for client projects within our CX services.

Collaborating with designers and PMs you will define and answer the biggest questions facing customers conducting many types of research e.g., user tests, panels, surveys, and interviews.

Here’s what you’ll do in this role:

  • Define the research strategy—beginning with early research and hypothesis, through defining requirements with product teams and testing prototypes
  • Build a deep understanding of our client’s business, their customers and culture
  • Plan and facilitate UX research and experimentation, adapting methods and processes as necessary
  • Identify and prioritize UX research questions based on the analysis of business needs, client goals, and risks
  • Produce key insights, personas, journey maps, eco-system maps, top-tasks, and usability testing findings
  • Collaborate with UX designers and client management teams to identify opportunities for research to help develop a deeper understanding of customers
  • Dive deep into both qualitative and quantitative user data to generate insights for product and service innovation
  • Synthesize data from research studies and co-creation sessions to identify key insights and translate them into actionable opportunity areas
  • Articulate results in a clear, concise, and compelling way to all levels of client management
  • Craft and tell compelling stories to communicate insights, opportunity areas, and concept designs to a variety of audiences

  • You’re a UX Researcher with 6+ years of professional experience
  • You have a passion for understanding the latest learnings and innovations in behavioral science, research methods and UX design when applying them to your work
  • You are eager to continually learn, grown, and improve your craft
  • You are a hands-on research expert, encouraging action over talking and inspiring innovation approaches using facilitation techniques at client meetings, internal company meetings, and team events
  • You are comfortable diplomatically advocating for the right solution for customers and employees
  • You are obsessed with identifying and understanding problems (UX, service or otherwise) when you find them (which is often)
  • You have a strong work ethic, strive to develop yourself professionally, and help your team exceed their potential
  • You are conscientious and diligent with an eye for detail

It would be great if you also had:

  • You have at least 3 years of consulting/agency experience
  • You are or are interested in writing, webinars, speaking at conferences and are involved in one of the various design communities
