Core4ce is hiring a Systems Engineer in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

The Systems Engineer will be responsible forn Performing technical planning, system hardware-software network design, development, and integration, verification and validation, and fielding.

Performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance.

Supporting multi-year planning and architecture development for the client Evaluates alternative engineering designs including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.

Maintaining a strong awareness of technical trends in information technology, develops and maintains a strong awareness of on-going IT projects, and business unit requirements Applying the project management model (e.g.

SAFE Agile) selected for a given development effort and leads hybrid project teams to accomplish defined objective Providing analysis, design, development, deployment, and lifecycle support for innovative hardware systems and applications.

Ability to configure, manage, and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.

Ensuring systems comply with the enterprise technical architecture.

n n Requirementsn n Qualifications n Active TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to pass a Full Scope Poly.

6-10 years of IT experience Demonstrated experience collaborating in technical and executive customer forums to address complex technical concepts such as architecture, roadmaps, dependencies, and key processes.

Demonstrated experience with risk management to include identifying, citing, ranking, and establishing appropriate mitigation approaches.

Extensive knowledge of Information Technology networking solutions, design, and integration for a network service provider architecture.

Extensive knowledge of Department of Defense systems engineering policies and procedures and application to development, production and fielding of major IT systems.

Experience with Defense Acquisition management processes and programs.

Ability to work effectively both independently and a part of a collaborative team.

Experience providing technical advice to evaluate potential technology solutions to address complex IT system capability gaps and requirements.

Organization, writing skills, and technical proficiency are a must.

Strong analysis and planning skills.

n n Highly Desired Skills And Certificationsn Bachelor”s degree or equivalent training and/or experience with a Master”s degree or advanced training in information technology Demonstrated experience deploying applications on Amazon Web services (AWS) infrastructures.

Master”s in Engineering or related discipline.
