Space Development Agencys (SDA)acceleration in development and fielding of new military space capabilities.SAIC is looking for motivated, innovative, career and customer-orientedindividuals to join our team in support of this space effort and provide SDAwith architecture concepts, systems, technologies, and capabilities that enablefuturistic improvements for U.S.

space based capabilities.

The ideal candidatewill have an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulnesswith the ability to apply and/or develop highly advanced technologies,scientific principles, theories and concepts in support of the SDAs mission.

The candidate for this position will support the entire SAIC effort in support ofSDA, which includes, but is not limited to:
Distillcustomer requirements into actionable development objectives
Workwith external and internal stakeholders to generate requirements documentationand specifications.

Maintain these documents through their lifetime
Collaboratewith subsystem representatives across team boundaries to consider all necessarytrades and ensure end-to-end mission success
Assistwith Ground Segment architecture and design, including software and hardwarearchitectures
Planfor and execute the build-out of accredited and operational systems andfacilities supporting space vehicle operations globally
Assistwith the creation and maintenance of project master schedules and regularlyreport modifications to customers
The candidate will be responsible forthese specific duties:
High-fidelity,real-time testing using hardware and software components
Spacevehicle to ground systems integration laboratory


Candidate Skills and Experience:
Providethought leadership and innovative solution design addressing the SDA mission
Provenpioneer in space related capabilities or innovation experience may beconsidered in lieu of a degree
Bachelorsdegree in an appropriate technical discipline from a recognized institution and eighteen (18) years or more of related experience
Professionalexperience working with ground systems for launch or space vehicles
Priorexperience working on government programs
3+years of experience working hands-on with hardware or software technicalprojects
2+years of systems-level engineering experience
2+years of technical project management experience
Provenability to interact effectively with colleagues
Excellentwritten and oral (briefing) communication skills
Strongcomputer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint,Excel, Outlook)
Demonstratedability to work well independently and in teams
Ability to obtain andmaintain a security clearance

Target salary range: $185,001
– $195,000.
