Night Shift 6pm-10pm


We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Housekeeper. The housekeeper is responsible for performing cleaning tasks, and related duties as assigned. This Part TIME position starts at $14.00 per hour and is located in North Chesterfield , VA.

  • To provide clean, safe and attractive indoor business environment by means of performing general janitorial and custodial duties daily to the interior of the Bon Air Campus Complex Buildings.
  • Tasks included but not limited to: dusting, vacuuming, empty trash cans (individual office & buildings), waxing, buffing, scrubbing floors, cleaning restrooms, restocking of all restroom paper products & soap, removing trash from building, dispose trash properly in facility dumpsters, cleaning of all windows interior and exterior including sills to maintain building/property in a clean, sanitized and safe condition.
  • Daily, Weekly and Monthly cleaning task list for the Bon Air Juvenile Justice Complex Buildings.
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars as assigned.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures, to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Efficiently performs duties as assigned and works as a team within division and company.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills within the English language.
  • Proven, high quality customer service (internal and external customers).
  • Ability to work collaboratively.

Education and Experience:

  • Mandated Criminal Background Check and Child Protective Services Check
  • Experience in Housekeeping or Custodial.
  • Background in cleaning/securing large facilities is helpful.
  • Requires working knowledge of cleaning methods, use of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and experience in floor and carpet care and cleaning.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Working skill in the operation of power cleaning equipment.
  • Some knowledge of safety practices in using chemicals and cleaning equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and move up to 25-50 pounds at times.
  • Standard hours of work Monday through Friday, 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
  • Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
