As a department of JRMC, TriCities ER can easily transfer a patient if more specialized care to the hospital if needed.   Our ER offers:   A separate pediatric entrance and waiting area11 private treatment roomsCT, Digital Ultrasound, digital diagnostic and portable X-raysOn-site labTelemedicine technology with specific focus on stroke care and behavioral health     Our 11,000 square-foot Free Standing ER is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – offering expert, convenient care for the entire family including for the communities of Price George, Fort Lee, Colonial Heights and Petersburg. Qualifications Qualifications:   Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN degree or currently enrolled in BSN Program preferred.Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or compact license required.Current certification as an American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider upon hire. ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months (180 days) of hire or start date in position.Current certification in specialty field, TNCC certification.Minimum of two years of experience as a RN with demonstrated competency in emergency department required.   We Value YOU and Your Future!
