Registered Nurse PACU

A reputable hospital in Maryland is actively seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position where the RN PACU will be a direct-hire employee of the health system.

The Registered Nurse PACU will work for a 320+ bed facility known for both their acute care hospital and rehab center.  Responsibilities of the RN PACU will include assessing, evaluating, monitoring, and treating patients in the Perioperative Surgical Services department. Additionally, the PACU Registered Nurse will serve as an educational resource for the patients, their families, and new-hire department staff. Working alongside a team of highly specialized RN and LPN nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff allows the RN to cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when developing individualized patient care treatment plans. 

Ideally, the PACU nurse will hold or be willing to obtain their Maryland or compact multi-state registered nurses license, and have at least 1 year of direct patient care experience working in a Post Anesthesia Care Unit PACU unit or Surgical Services department.  

The PACU RN will work for a hospital located in Maryland, and easily commutable from the suburbs of Maryland, Washington DC, or Virginia.
