This is a Full-time position in Bristow, VA posted November 22, 2021.

We are looking for a responsible medical records specialist/office administrator to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

Duties include providing support to our manager and employees, assisting in daily office needs and general administrative activities.

Administrative responsibilities include scanning and appropriately filing patient documents, sorting and filing incoming medical records, managing incoming faxes, timely preparing and mailing patient medical records.

The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to independently set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines, ensuring compliance with established processes, policies, and regulations.

This is an entry level position and ideal for new grads looking to enter into the medical field.

Manage incoming faxes and file them appropriately
Sort through and properly file incoming medical records
Process all medical records requests in an efficient and timely manner
Effectively communicate with patients when needed
Scan and file office related paperwork and forms
Assist clinical staff with clerical tasks as needed
Communicate effectively with outside medical offices to obtain appropriate patient information as needed
Support office staff and providers as needed
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
Proficiency in MS Office
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail
Strong organizational and communication skills
High School degree
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00
– $16.00 per hour
