Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse Manager

A Magnet designated acute care hospital located in southern Virginia is now seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse Manager to join their award-winning organization.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse Manager will oversee the clinical and administrative operations of the department and lead a team of 75+ direct reports. This department is home to 7 state-of-the-art cardiovascular operating rooms and 1 hybrid procedural room. The Nurse Manager has overall responsibility of all direct patient care activities, ensures quality and safe care, adheres to state and federal regulatory standards, leads staff professional development, develops and monitors department budgets, leads recruitment activities, and represents the department in various hospital-wide committees.

What Makes You Awesome:

• Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Virginia or ability to obtain
• Progressive leadership experience in nursing
• Expert knowledge of cardiovascular and operating room nursing
