Position Description As the .Net Architect, you will be supporting agile developmentoperations team by implementing and improving various technology strategies that are already in place at the client. You will work on building, scaling, and monitoring highly complex and mission-critical applications and ensuring our container orchestration infrastructure is highly available as it migrates to a cloud environment. You will also be responsible for designing, developing and implementing custom software and database application capabilities for a variety of legacy and modernized systems with limited oversight. Your future duties and responsibilities bullCollaborate closely with Technical Leads and senior developers. bullParticipate in the system architecture design, systems engineering, development, integration testing and validation, and all aspects of the software life cycle (requirements to design to implementation to test) for on-premise applications in unclassified and TS environments. bullProvide Software development and support of various existing applications written primarily in Java, with some .NET, JavaScript React, Autonomy and Oracle 19C technologies used. bullProvide support for Agile Development and OM teams in the following areas (Java Applications, Container Infrastructure, CICD and DevOps pipelines, troubleshooting, application performance tuning analysis, Static Code Analysis, etc.) bullLearn and adhere to the continuous integration, automated unit testing and other agile practices established within the team using the tools that are currently used by the team. Required qualifications to be successful in this role bullA Bacheloraposs degree from an accredited university or equivalent related experience bullAn Active US government Secret clearance is required bullA minimum of eight years of experience in the creation of mid-to-enterprise level software systems bullA minimum of eight years of experience in designing, documenting and developing web-based and stand-alone software applications bullExperience in design and implementation of SOAP and RESTful web services bullExperience with object-oriented languages and concepts to include a minimum of three years of development work using .NET and Oracle in an On-Premises, IaaS, andor PaaS cloud-based environment bullExperience implementing Docker or similar container technologies in Azure bullExperience with continuous integration tools such as MS DEVOPS andor Jenkins including installation and administration facilitating developer training bullExperience with automated configuration processes and tools such as Chef or PowerShell DSC including installation, administration and coding AND experience facilitating developer training bullExperience with designing, implementing and supporting a DevSecOps environment (code repository, binary repository, continuous integrationdelivery, error tracking) bullExperience with producing and grooming Agile product backlogs and interacting with Product Owners bullKnowledge of applicable controls for securing federal government systems Desired Qualifications bullExperience evaluating and implementing cloud-based solutions preferred bullAdvanced Agile certification CGIFederalJobs LI-HS1 What you can expect from us Build your career with us.
