– Effectively troubleshoot and repair facility and production mechanical equipment on a daily basis.
– Effectively troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical control systems and PLCs.
– Install new electrical services.
– Install new or rebuilt machine parts.
– Rebuild failed components.
– Support installation of new systems and equipment.
OTHER NECESSARY SKILLS:
– Strong electrical and mechanical experience with an emphasis on electrical skills.
– Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on PLCs and computer software.
– Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
– Proficiency with machine controls and/or 3 phase power systems is a plus.
– Read and understand drawings, diagrams, schematics, OEM Manuals, and other manufacturer specifications.
– Must be able to work in a team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
– Background: 5 years minimum industrial field experience as an Electrician, preferably in the Pulp, Paper, or Packaging Industry or similar medium manufacturing setting.
– Must have own tools – industry specific tools supplied.

Schedule
Shift start: 7:00AM or 3:00PM or 11:00PM
Shift length: 8 hours
A Shift & B Shift alternate weeks of 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM. C Shift works 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
