Post Closer – McLean, VATitle company is looking for a post closer to work with our fun team, candidate must be a self-starter and a team player and dependable.

This is a full time, direct hire position in McLean, VA.The Post Closer is responsible for professional-level services in their area of expertise in addition to their financial responsibilities.

The Post Closer works as the “Back-Line” supervisor to ensure maximum involvement and contribution from all parties involved in Post-Settlement Issues.

In this important role, you will be responsible for collecting and reviewing closed loan files to ensure that the loan is closed in accordance with the closing instructions and funding requirements are met for each transaction.

You will be required to prepare recordings, balance files for funding, disburse files and manage post-closing calendar.

Additional duties will be assigned as required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Including the following, although other duties may be assigned:Manage the monetary operations of the escrow accountsLiaise with clients, lenders, title companies, government entities, tax office, etc.

to resolve outstanding post-settlement issues.Work closely with other office employees to ensure a premium client experience.

Ensures the quality and completeness of the documents and financial transactions executed for each closing.Ensures that documents and financial transactions executed for each closing adheres to company procedures.Ensures all disbursements from the Escrow Accounts are made in accordance with the CD/HUD-1 Settlement StatementSets post closing work priorities for the office, monitors progress, and meets with the Manager on an as-needed basis to discuss performance issuesPlans and organizes cross-training of team members; Coordinates with manager, processors and marketers to keep them informed with updated standards, requirements and areas of concernEnsures all paperwork and financial transactions are conducted in a timely fashion within the guidelines of the Virginia Wet Settlement Act, and DC and MD statutes.Responds to emerging priorities as set by the Manager Uses negotiation, arbitration and conflict resolution skills to balance the needs all parties involved in Post-Settlement IssuesGains the cooperation of, and liaises effectively with, others in a range of situationsIs available and approachable for clientsCandidates must have:Excellent customer services skills Attention to detail Able to multi-taskAble to meet deadlinesSalary is $45,000-$55,000 based on experience, plus great benefits packageglassdoor
