SR Customer Service Rep – Materials

However, the supervisor or manager may assign additional duties associated with this position.

Maintain good relationship with internal/external customers.

Maintain customer ratings, rating files and corresponds action.

Review customer monthly and issue new releases when necessary.

Maintain individual part number files.

Coordinate material needs on engineering changes.

Communicate potential material shortages to all concerned.

Issue RDR reports when needed.

Prepare vendor performance reports monthly.

Schedule pick-up and delivery.

Review purchase part behind schedule weekly.

Identify any shortages and report them to the Master Scheduler and/or Materials Manager.

Enter customer manual releases within 24 hours.

Verify changes to Manager/Scheduler.

Customer Contact for In Process/Special Orders.

Review EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) releases and verify against JIT (shipping schedule).

Maintain accuracy of shipping schedule (JIT).

Maintain customer CUMS accuracy.

Verify CUMS daily and resolve discrepancies.

Handle annual CUMS rollover.

Review Customer Portals as required daily.

Creates and distributes all packaging labels for special orders.

Make system adjustments and work with quality to maintain.

(Customer Returns, ect.) Perform weekly cycle counts on FG items and containers per company standard Attend new launch meetings for designated customer.

Communicate and monitor balance out number to materials department and production.

Maintain documentation for filing obsolete claims.

Facilitate customer routings and window times with Materials Manager.

Updates cross reference files.

Forwards customer correspondence to appropriate personnel as needed Checks material availability when requirements increase.

Review material releases weekly to ensure production requirements are met.

Communicate potential shortages to Material Manager and Scheduler.

Issue releases to vendors and follow-up when necessary.

Coordinate new program / Engineering Change material.

Issue RDR’s and send out vendor evaluations monthly.

Cycle counts raw material and makes adjustments as necessary.

Works with other departments to resolve issues, follow up and train associates on proper procedures.

Corrects errors or lists discrepancies for adjustment.

Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc.).

Help departmental operations wherever necessary.

Punctual and regular attendance is required.

Able and willing to work any shift assigned.

Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all duties.

Keeps work areas clean and orderly.

Actively participates in continuous improvement activities.

Assumes other duties as directed by supervisor.

Conform to IATF16949 and ISO 14001 standards and procedures.
