The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing Tier 2 Help Desk support to computer and network users
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

● Ensure maximum issue resolution in minimum time to meet Service Level Agreements

● Assist users with computer hardware and/or software applications (e.g.

website access, email setup, troubleshooting, etc.)

● Provide in-depth applications knowledge of AOC Weapon System and other applications, services and/or systems.

● Assist software engineering product teams with developing modern support solutions to ease customer pain associated with problem resolution

● Resolve procedural issues

● Perform technical troubleshooting

● Maintain and update an electronic database of common procedural issues and solutions or quick fixes to known issues

● Keeps current on advances in the field of IT, cloud-native application development and container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes

● Provide 24/7 support as needed/directed by the Government

● Provide coordination and support for Tier 1 and/or Tier 3 level ticket requests

● Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.

May consider an additional 2 years of related experience in lieu of degree.

● Minimum 6 years in a Help Desk environment

● Minimum 6 years of experience in computer and information systems

● Current IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security + CE, CCNA Security, SSCP, GSEC)

● Knowledge and experience with Intel based Windows, and UNIX

● Eligible to obtain Secret/ TS Clearance

● Masters Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline

● Experience supporting a DoD customer’s Information Technology environment (Server Administration, Operations, Maintenance, Information Assurance, etc.)

● Minimum 10 years of Help Desk experience in computer and information system

● Minimum 10 years of experience in computer and information systems

● Additional current CompTIA certifications in addition to the basic requirement

● Knowledge and experience with Cloud Computing relating to Microsoft Azure and/or AWS

● Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certification

● Certified Kubernetes Administrator Certification
